Terms & Conditions
The Diaper Library provides cloth diapers and related supplies—including inserts, sprayers, and other diapering items—on a loan basis to support families in need. To ensure our program remains sustainable and available to as many families as possible, the following terms apply:
Loan Period & Renewal
All loaned items are issued under a 3-month checkout period, similar to a library lending system. To keep inventory, condition, and family needs up to date, each family must complete a renewal check-in every three (3) months.
Check-ins may be completed via:
-
Email
-
Phone call
-
Zoom meeting
-
In-person visit
Reminder emails will be sent two (2) weeks prior to your renewal date.
Grace Period & Late Fees
A 15-day grace period is provided following the renewal due date. After this grace period, a $10 late fee will be assessed for every 5-day lapse until renewal or contact is completed.
Non-Return & Replacement Fees
If no renewal, check-in, or communication occurs and loaned items are not returned within 30 days of the renewal date, the account will be considered non-compliant. In this case, a replacement fee of $5 per diaper will be assessed to help cover the cost of replenishing inventory.
Condition of Returned Items
All diapers and loaned items must be returned:
-
Soil-free
-
Properly cleaned and laundered
This allows our team to efficiently sanitize, prepare, and redistribute items to another family in need without delay.
Our Commitment
The Diaper Library is a free program. Families who respect the guidelines and communicate with our team will avoid all fees and continue to receive clean, reliable cloth diapers for their little ones.
